Nagajuban (Juban)

The garment that goes under kimono (not yukata). Nagajuban are intended to protect kimono from needing to be laundered so often, and to provide a nested collar that is reminiscent of court robes of yesteryear. They’ve evolved into being awesome garments in and of themselves, and can feature stunning artwork, gorgeous weaves, and soft, luxe textures.
