Description

This bundle of vintage synthetic is perfect for small crafts, especially tsumami kanzashi, as well as doll clothes, pouches and purses, patchwork, and more.  Japanese synthetics often contain beautiful patterns and textures not seen from textiles in any other areas of the world.  The fabric is mostly medium to light weight, but more sturdy than the lightweight silk bundles.  It was cut by hand from vintage kimono and kimono jackets, and it is graded at either A (excellent) or B (very good) condition.  Any flaws allowed are very minor.

Japan uses the metric system (as opposed to America, in which we measure things by literally any other metric as long as it’s not, well, metric), so all the measurements below are given in centimeters.  Trust us, when you think in kimono, centimeters make a lot more sense.  But in case you forgot how metric measurements work, 1 inch is roughly 2.5 centimeters.
