Iromuji are versatile, one-color kimono that are used for everything from going out to dinner to engaging in tea ceremony. Mofuku are also single-color, but are typically used for mourning the dead. That said, some use iromuji with black obi for part of the mourning process, and some use mofuku for cosplay, so really, there are a lot of uses for these awesome kimono.
