Description

This amazing purple furisode was too gorgeous for us to scrap. Royal purple real shibori is intersperced with amazingly embroidered and stencil painted fan papers.  The main thing wrong with it is that some of the hand-embroidery is coming loose or is mostly detached and needs to be restitched.  There are a few spots on it as well, but not very many.  We don’t have the time to fix that, so it’s being offered at a steep discount for someone who has more time than we do to restore this piece to its former glory.

This kimono is one of our “Pike Kimono” / “Kimono we loft onto pikes for display at conventions.” Please Note that these pieces are sold without obi, and are considered too damaged for wearing formally, but still in good enough shape for Kimono Cosplay or repurposing into other garments.
